③ Roller type medicine packaging machine
The roller-plate type pharmaceutical packaging machine is derived from the roller-type and flat-plate type pharmaceutical packaging machine. Its operation process and working state are basically the same as the above two packaging machines. The main features are: the structure of the heating device is a flat-type structure, forming The method is blow molding (that is, positive pressure molding), and the sealing device structure is a roller-type aluminum foil conveying method, which is an intermittent-continuous combination type.

It can pack various specifications of drug-coated tablets, plain tablets, capsules, capsules and shaped tablets, and can also be used for packaging Chocolate beans, bubble gum and other small foods. However, when large-diameter medicines, capsules, and shaped tablets with a diameter exceeding 16 mm are obliquely arranged on the plate at an angle exceeding 45°, such packaging equipment is not suitable.
According to the degree of automation, there are three types of medicine packaging machines: semi-automatic packaging machine, automatic packaging machine and fully automatic production line. Because the production volume of blister packaging for medicines is large, the varieties are relatively fixed, and safety and hygiene are required, it is appropriate to use automatic production lines for production. During the automated operation, in addition to the completion of the packaging process, printing, loading instructions, cartoning and other processes can also be connected to the packaging line to form a fully automated blister packaging production line.
