How does a weight sorter work?
The weight sorting machine is a high-speed and high-precision online checkweighing equipment, which is mainly used to check whether the weight of the product is qualified or not, and whether there are missing parts or instructions in the package. So, how does the weight sorter work? 1. Preparation for weighing When the product enters the feed conveyor, the speed setting of the feed conveyor is usually determined according to the distance between the product and the required speed. The purpose is to ensure that there is only one product on the weigherduring operation of the weight sorter. 2. Weighing process When the product enters the weight sorting machine, the system recognizes that the tested product enters the weighing area according to the external signal (sorting process). According to the running speed of the weight sorting machine and the length of the conveyor belt, the system can determine the time when the product leaves the weighing conveyor; from the time the product enters the weighing platform to the time it leaves the weighing platform, the load cell will detect the signal shown in the figure below. The controller selects the signal to stabilize the agricultural area for processing and obtains the weight of the product. 3. Selection process (sorting process) When the controller obtains the weight signal of the product, the system will compare it with a predetermined weight range to sort the product, and the classification type will vary by application. The main types are as follows: (1) Eliminate substandard products (2) Eliminate overweight and underweight separately, or ship them to different places (3) Divide them into different weight categories based on different weight ranges 4. Report feedback The weight sorting machine has the function of weight signal feedback. The average weight of the set quantity of product is usually fed back to the controller of the packing/filling/bottling machine. The controller will dynamically adjust the feed amount so that the average weight of the product is close to the target value. In addition to the feedback function, the weight sorter can also provide rich reporting functions, the number of packages in each area, the total amount of each area, the qualified total amount, the average, the standard deviation, the total amount and the total accumulated amount.
