Analysis of the Reasons for the High Temperature

When the temperature of the motor of the packaging machine is too high, not only the service life is shortened, but also the fire will be caused in severe cases. If the motor temperature rise is too high, it should be stopped immediately. The combination said that the manufacturer analyzed the reasons for the high temperature rise as follows: 

1.The load is too large. If the mechanical drive belt is too tight and the shaft operation is not flexible, it can cause the motor of the packaging machine to overload for a long time. At this time, it should work with the mechanical maintenance personnel to loosen the drive belt to disassemble and check the mechanical equipment, make the shaft flexible, and try to adjust the load to keep the motor running under the rated load.

2. Poor working environment. If the motor of the vacuum packaging machine is exposed to sunlight, the ambient temperature exceeds 40 ° C or the environment conditions with poor ventilation will cause the motor temperature to rise too high. It can be shaded by a simple pergola or blown with a blower or fan to remove oil and dust from the air duct of the motor itself to change the cooling conditions. 

3. If the motor of the axial fan is taken in the reverse direction, the motor will overheat. 

4. The failure of the transmission device (friction or jamming phenomenon) causes the motor to overheat and heat, and even makes the motor stuck and does not turn, causing the temperature of the motor to rise sharply and the winding is quickly burned out.

5. The rewinding of the motor will cause the motor to heat up during the trial operation due to the change in the winding parameters. The three-phase no-load current of the motor can be measured. If it is greater than the rated value, it means that the number of turns is insufficient and the number of turns should be increased. 

6. The external wiring is wrong, and the △ connected motor is mistakenly connected into Y connection. Although it can be started and run with load, a slightly larger load current will exceed the rated current and cause heat; if the y-linked motor is mistakenly connected to a delta connection, the rated current can be exceeded and the operation can not be performed at no load. 

7. The power supply is out of phase. If the power supply is out of phase, and the single-phase operation of the vacuum packaging machine motor is caused, the winding of the motor will be rapidly heated and burned in a short time. Therefore, you should first check the fuse and switch status of the motor, and then measure the front line with a multimeter. 

8. Cage rotor guide bar breakage, open welding or rotor guide bar cross-sectional area is too small, so that the loss increases and heat, you can test the rotor temperature after shutdown, find the cause of the failure and eliminate it. 

9. Do you know what causes the temperature of the motor of pickle food packaging machinery to rise too high? The motor of the automatic vacuum packaging machine is started frequently or the number of forward and reverse rotations is too many. The number of starts should be limited. The combination says that the manufacturer correctly selects the overheat protection or replaces the motor suitable for the equipment requirements. 

10. The three-phase voltage is seriously unbalanced. Check whether the stator windings are short-circuited between phases or turns, and the stator windings are grounded. 

11. Vacuum packaging machine motor bearings are poorly lubricated or stuck. Check whether the temperature of the bearing room is higher than other parts. Check whether the grease is too little or dry. 

12. The failure of the ventilation system is because the air path is blocked or the heat sink has too much dust and the grease is too thick, which affects the ventilation and heat dissipation. 

13. The rotor rubs against the stator core, and a continuous metal impact sound occurs, which may easily cause the local temperature rise to be too high. Check with heart pump to find out the cause of the fault and eliminate it.
