2 restaurants temporarily closed for food safety violations

After provincial health inspectors closed the restaurant for food safety violations, the restaurant reopened.

According to the province\'s website, since 2014, the Charlottetown restaurant has been closed due to the \"imminent risk\" of public health and 21 violations in the Chinese garden, including failure to properly cool food, failure to provide food, water and/or ice from approved sources, and failure to keep houses and equipment in a clean and hygienic condition.
Riverside bakeries and cafes have 12 violations, including the failure to maintain potentially dangerous food at 4 °c or at cooler temperatures, the failure to provide adequate hand washing facilities, and failure to receive, store, process and/or transport food or food packaging materials in the condition of preventing contamination.
Yan sryan Neale, the province\'s environmental health manager, said that the number of violations was a factor in the closure.
