airport: metal detector or pat down?

by:Kenwei      2019-08-22
I\'m flying tomorrow. I want to know what you guys will do?
Will you go through the TSA scanner or ask for a shot?
In the past month, I have taken 4 round-trip flights and have chosen not to use the scanner each time.
I think they gave me the chance to choose so it\'s better not to go through the extra exposure.
It only takes an extra 5 minutes to shoot.
I want to know.
It may take off in a few weeks.
I personally intend to go through the scanner.
This is your choice, but I did the scan without any problems.
It goes fast and there is little radiation.
Still, you can ask for a part to come down, but it takes longer, which makes me wonder.
I passed the metal detector when I was 9 weeks pregnant.
I do have instructions from the doctor not to go through the body scanner.

After 06/2014, I passed the metal detector when I was 9 weeks pregnant.

This is another question for me.
Does a large body scanner emit more radiation than a normal metal detector?
Is the metal detector safe?
I have passed the detector but will not pass the scanner.

The metal detector is not a problem, it is a full body scanner.
I read a lot on it because I have had to fly several times in the past few months.
Basically, the whole body scanner is so new that there is not much research.
TSA says they are safe for pregnant women, but there is not much evidence in any case.
You may be lucky to have to go through a metal detector.
If not, I would opt out and shoot it down.
It doesn\'t take too long to be honest, and it\'s not a big deal, especially when they see you pregnant.
The problem is that you actually get more radiation as you shoot it, because it takes a lot of time to stand near the machine, and there are already TSA workers working outside the machine that can get cancer all the time.
Radiation scattered a lot around the machine.
I think it\'s safer to get through quickly and then leave there.
So far, there is no evidence
The body scanner is harmful (
Especially late pregnancy)
But if you\'re worried, go patrol.
Many pregnant women do this, so I\'m sure they won\'t think about it.
Also, I was selected to take random patrols before, which is really not that bad!
